ayakomaru, the real name is Ayako Yamazaki, is born and raised in Sapporo, Hokkaido, obviously Japan.

She once dreamed about moving to USA and become a farmer when she was 13.

She once dreamed about moving to USA and marry a black man because she was too into Hip Hop(especially dance)...it was when she was 15.

She once dreamed about moving to USA to become a canoeist when she was 24.

Now here she is, living her dream in USA.
She didn't become a farmer or canoeist, but she has a little garden outside of her appartment and works outdoors with children.

She did't marry a black man, but had a very close look at what Hip Hop life is like. Even though she loved it, she found that she was not Hip Hop.

Instead, she found that she is truly a DOSANCO(means people from Hokkaido).

She loves being in USA, but wants to do something with Hokkaido....so, she decided to open this website.

She doen't know how far this site will go...but that's why life is so fun!

She is thrilled to launch this site and meet more people all over the universe.

ayakomaru（本名：山崎綾子）は札幌で生まれ育ちました。

中学１年生の時、「アメリカで農業がやりたい！」と夢見ました。

高校生になると、ヒップホップ（特にダンス）にはまり過ぎて「アメリカに行って黒人と結婚する！ 」と夢見ていました。

そして大学院に通っていた頃は「アメリカでカヌー乗りになる！」と、これまた夢見ていました。

そして今、ayakomaruはアメリカ、ニューヨークで生活しています。農家にもならなかったし、カヌー乗りにもならなかのだけれど、アパートの外には小さなお庭を作れたし、アウトドアで子どもに関わる仕事につく事もできました。

黒人と結婚する事はありませんでしたが、ヒップホップな暮らしがどんなものか、よーく観察する事ができました。とっても楽しかったのだけれど、ayakomaruはヒップホップではないっていうことがよくわかりました。

そのかわり、ayakomaruは日本人なのだ、そして道産子なのだということを改めて感じました。

アメリカにいる事もとても好きだけれど、でも大好きなニッポン、そして北海道とつながる何かがしたい・・・そう思ってこのサイトをオープンすることにしました。

このサイトがどこまで成長できるのか、全く未知数です。でも、だからこそLifeは楽しいんですね！

このサイトを始められること、そしてこれから起こる沢山の出会いにワクワクドキドキしています。
